Iguazu Falls - Argentina

Day 2

Cloudy to start with but dry.. yipee. We queued up for the bus and trundled along to the park. You have to go through the main entrance and then catch a wooden carriage train up to the first station. We walked and walked all the lower trails and then caught the train up to the second level and the El Garganta del diablo (the devils throat). It was all truly wonderful and I hope the pictures can do it some justice.

These little buggers are everywhere. They are called Coatees, and a menance. We bought couple of empanadas and a drink for lunch, sat down at a table and of them was up virtually in my lap trying
to get to my lunch. I transferred the bag to my left hand to have another one launc itself at the bag, and he nearly got it. I am sure they were working in tandem, and had a game plan. Only a swift wack by Rod and a plastic tray got rid of it.

Today we went to a proper parradilla for dinner and had a proper plate of animal bits. Rod was in his element and enjoyed it immensely. I stuck t the chicken which was outstanding, and the sausage, and tried a few nibbles of the other unmentionables. Have to say I preferred the chicken. But it was a tasty meal and I was stuffed at the end of it.
